Location: Peak Pickleball – 1730 Briargate Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80920

Pay: $16/hour

Reports To: General Manager, Tyler Somogye

Job Summary

Player Assistants are a vital part of Peak Pickleball’s daily operations. This hybrid role combines front desk responsibilities with facility upkeep and customer service. Player Assistants are often the first point of contact for guests and help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all players, visitors, and staff.

We are currently looking to hire two Player Assistants to help cover the following shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. These positions will fill the available hours listed above.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front Desk Operations

Greet all guests warmly and professionally

Manage player check-ins using CourtReserve

Assist with account setup, reservations, and program/class registration

Answer phone calls, return voicemails, and direct calls appropriately

Monitor and respond to front desk emails

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for purchases and transactions

Provide accurate information about programs, events, and facility policies

Handle basic customer questions or concerns

Promote upcoming events, clinics, and programs to guests and members

Facility Monitoring & Cleanliness

Open and prepare the facility (lights, TVs, music, equipment)

Conduct walkthroughs every two hours to ensure cleanliness and safety

Clean and maintain bathrooms, courts, lobby, pro shop, and lounge areas

Keep the Pro Shop clean, stocked, and organized

Maintain the facility's visual appeal and overall cleanliness

Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly

Assist with inventory tracking (cleaning supplies, bathroom products, Pro Shop items)

Technology & Systems

Adjust music zones and volume using SONOS on the iPad

Troubleshoot minor issues with check-ins, reservations, and tech systems

Manage TV displays during opening/closing and throughout the day

Report recurring or unresolved tech issues to the Administrative Manager

Assist guests with creating CourtReserve accounts and signing waivers on the tablet

Security & Facility Oversight

Ensure all facility access points are secure and functioning properly

Understand and safely operate facility controls (keys, switches, etc.)

Dispose of waste properly and safely

Monitor for suspicious activity or safety concerns and report them immediately

Follow all opening and closing procedures thoroughly

Required Skills & Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Customer service or front desk experience preferred

Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable using digital systems (POS, email, CourtReserve)

Basic knowledge of cleaning and facility upkeep

Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks for extended periods

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position (15-20 hours/week)

Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Workplace Conduct

Personal phone use during shifts must be minimal and limited to emergencies

Team members must remain attentive, professional, and engaged during shifts

Maintain a respectful, positive, and team-oriented attitude with coworkers, management, and guests

Pay: $16.00 per hour
